Training Services
A dynamic, holistic approach...
We believe that when you set a horse up for success in all aspects you achieve the best possible results.

We address all aspects of a horse’s well-being and education within our training. Especially with horses who come from a challenging or unknown background. We look into each horse’s physical and mental health, diet, equipment, paddock environment, and more. This ensures that they are at their best and able to take their training fully on board.

We train with a dynamic and patient approach, taking the time to get to know how each horse learns best, and what they need from us to take in their training, fill any gaps, and move forward with their education.

We have an amazing team of professionals who we work with to provide any needed body work, dentistry, veterinary, and dietary care that your horse may need.
Pricing
$325 per week - training stays
or $75 per hour + travel

Each horse's training is tailored fully to their needs, and owner's goals.
Not all training services can be offered off property (such as breaking in, or horses needing consistent
work), for these cases a training stay is the best option.

Our training stays include full care, quality hay, and a small hard feed.
Supplements, larger feeds, and twice daily feeding also available.
If you are after something a little different to what is mentioned here, please be in touch
regarding a custom training package.
Saddle Starting / Breaking In
We provide breaking and saddle starting for horses from Shetlands to Clydesdales. We start all of our horses from the ground up, ensuring a solid understanding of each step along the way. Your horse’s individual program will be determined by your goals and the disciplines you wish your horse to be furthered in.
It is important to us to take the time your horse needs to feel confident in their new skills and be ready to come home and continue on with their new job.

A typical breaking stay lasts between 8-12 weeks depending on the horse’s prior training, and the level of education you are seeking to achieve.
Further and Re-Education
We offer further and re-education for behavioural concerns, in pleasure riding, or in any of the English disciplines. These training stays can be tailored to suit the needs of both you and your horse. The perfect choice for bringing a horse back into work, or furthering their education in a new area.

These stays may also seek to address issues such as learned pigrooting, bucking, separation anxiety, or other behavioural concerns. In these cases especially we believe in investigating the horse's entire comfort, management, and confidence throughout their training.
Children's Ponies
With experience teaching young children, we understand the unique challenges and requirements kid's ponies need to keep up with! We ensure we investigate their responses and suitability for this purpose thoroughly throughout their training.
We can start your pony in with lead-line and or independent riding, and can further educate ponies with children in mind including teaching lead-line ponies to be ridden off lead.
Our petite pony rider is also the perfect choice for giving your pony a tune up to remember their manners for their little riders.

Sales Campaigning
If you need your horse prepared for sale and moved onto their perfect home, we can handle the entire process for you.
We ensure your horse is ready for viewings, handle all photos, video, advertisements, enquiries, and viewings. We strive to find the best possible fit for your horse in their new home.
Weekly fees and commission to be discussed. Starting at a weekly training cost + 10% commission.
Groundwork and FLoat Loading
We also offer training stays for horses who are not (or not yet) ridden, including miniature pony handling. These stays include the basics such as general good manners, leading, tieing, and standing for the farrier. They can also include additional skills such as float training, lunging, and in-hand showing preparation.
Skills on the ground are adapted to your horse's age, experience, and your needs. It is also a great opportunity to set a young horse up for success in a future saddle starting / breaking stay.

Foal and Youngstock Handling
We offer basic, foundation, and show training for horses as young as foals. As breeders and experienced foal handlers, we understand that foals and youngsters learn differently to adult horses, and require a slightly different approach to best set them up for success. If the idea of training a foal seems daunting, you need some assistance with show handling, we can help.
Young stock stays are also a perfect pre-curser to future training and starting preparation.
